What happened: VENUS *To whom it may concern: * A few weeks ago, I noticed a sweater online from Venus that I really liked so I ordered that one sweater from online immediately. *This is when the chain of events first began. That sweater didn’t fit so I called to exchange it for a different one. I had ** or **% min off code so I gave her the code & ordered a different one and sent back the first one. While I was on the phone the lady asked me if I wanted to apply for a credit card I told her yes and she said the approval didn’t go through. So fine that was the end of that conversation.***One week later I still had no email or anything about the new order or the return order.*So I called and the person that answered said there is absolutely ***% zero record of any new order or exchange. So essentially it’s like nothing ever happened. I’m OK? anyway I told her maybe they can pull up the recorded phone call or something cause it just sounds crazy. If they didn’t believe me or whatever-but either way I did send back the return and I still want to order the other one AGAIN! of course the one I ordered is no longer available in my size. So now I have to risk ordering one that may not fit and then possibly have to pay to ship it back. She made a note in my account to not deduct shipping if item was returned. She then asked me if I want to apply for a credit card and I told her I tried before on the it never happened phone call and it didn’t go through. She tried it and apparently I was approved. So now I have tge Venus credit card.*Meanwhile they received my return and only credit me about half of what I paid. Whether they took shipping out or not Idk-but even so it still was only **.** and it should’ve been **.**.**I called back and explain the situation and she said yes I see it noted here I understand the problem and we’re going to credit you $**.**. I said OK thank you, but I still don’t have that credit to my account.**So then I placed a few different orders and without any warning or notification one of my orders was canceled. For whatever reason didn’t matter I just should’ve been notified.**In one of the orders that didn’t make it I needed to exchange only one item out of this $*** order for a different size. When placing this original order I ordered online and used promo code because ordering from there seems to be easier. Since I had to rebuy the item I no longer have the promo code obviously, and I felt like calling would be too confusing so I ended up spending ** extra dollars instead of doing an even exchange and only paying the return shipping.**The day after I sent that back and ordered the new one the item is on sale. **As of right now I have four items that are on back order. I decided to go online to check the date of when they would arrive. And there I found that One of the items is not only in stock but three dollars less at the present time. My order still says back ordered for that exact same item(size and color) so essentially I’m waiting for something that is currently in stock already and I if I ever do get it I will end up paying slightly more for it.**Another one of the backordered items is attached to a credit card that may or may not have that amount of credit when the item comes in stock. I need to fix that problem but I am scared to death to call and do anything involving accounts, money, order numbers, Credit cards, discount codes, shipping scenarios or really anything to do with the items I ordered for fear I won’t receive them or if I do I will be charged incorrectly.**So as it stands now out of all my orders I returned only two items and I’m waiting on one to get back to you and on the other one to be the correct credit amount. I also as you can see have quite a few situations and questions I’m not sure who I really need to contact so I’m hoping someone might call me. **I certainly am not trying to sound rude or be disrespectful in any way whatsoever-and none of these scenarios are even a big deal— I just think it’s all of them together and the fact that it’s consistently happening. I’m just frustrated. At first, I honestly just thought to myself once I get what I’ve ordered I’ll just never order from there again. But that just seems Ridiculous when l love pretty much everything I order. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks for your time, **Kimber*(***)***-****

What happened: Good afternoon,**Please be advised I would like this escalated to a manager and expect a call back from Venus. **This afternoon at *:**pm I received an email from RetailMeNot stating Venus had an extra **% off sale with free shipping. I am leaving on a service trip to Uganda in a month and thought Venus might be the perfect place to buy long pants*skirts that I need for the trip.**I accidentally used the wrong code when I purchased that was for **% off, not **%. I contacted customer service live chat within minutes to update the order and receive the additional *%.**I was told the code was expired and not to use these codes. The service rep was unable to help me and as a result, I canceled a $*** order of the $** discount she refused to give.**I also asked what the best current promotion was that Venus offered and the agent, Trixie, straight out lied to me, stating it was only free ground shipping with $** purchase - which is NOT true, as I had just used a **% coupon. **Maybe Venus doesn't care about losing a customer, but it seems to be that any other retailer out there is fighting for customer business and would gladly honor a measly *% in order to keep a long-time customer.**Please see the chat history below for the full detail.*Warm Regards,*Rebekah Wilberg*Former Venus customer for over * years************ *:**:** p.m.*Welcome to IC!* **:**:** p.m.*Interaction transferred to VenusChat.* **:**:** p.m.*Interaction alerting Trixie.* **:**:** p.m.*Trixie has joined the conversation.* *Rebekah Wilberg**:**:** p.m.*Hi Trixie,* **:**:** p.m.*I just placed an order and entered the wrong coupon code. Please note that we do not post any promotion codes online, we only send our promotion codes to our customers via email. Any web sites promoting codes that aren't theirs may contain expired or non-valid codes, since we do not provide these online. Please refrain from using outside promotion codes since we do not honor those that are not ours. I do recommend that you sign up to receive our promotions via email, you may do this via the following link: https:**www.venus.com*emailupdates.aspx* *Rebekah Wilberg**:**:** p.m.*Look, I subscribe and receive your mailer in the mail. I've made multiple purchases from Venus and the code I used today from from RetailMeNot and it worked. So that's not exactly true. I find it shocking that you would not honor this. Please cancel my order.* *Trixie**:**:** p.m.*Unfortunately these codes could be uploaded by customers sharing their codes but this one has expired. You will be able to see all our expiration dates within the email itself we have sent this code with but since you did not retrieve this from an email you may not have been provided this vital information. We certainly apologize for any inconvenience* *Rebekah Wilberg**:**:** p.m.*As I said, if you will not honor this, please cancel my order* *Trixie**:**:** p.m.*Per your request, your order has been cancelled. You reference number is X-********. Because the order will not be shipping, any pending authorizations to the credit card will be removed by the credit card company within ** business hours. ** **:**:** p.m.*May I be of any further assistance?** *Rebekah Wilberg**:**:** p.m.*You actually have not been of any assistance and how long a long time customer.* **:**:** p.m.*Sorry - "lost" a long time customer.* *Trixie**:**:** p.m.*I certainly apologize for any inconvenience. May I assist you with anything else today? ** *Rebekah Wilberg**:**:** p.m.*Yes, please tell me what your best current coupon code promotion is on your email* *Trixie**:**:** p.m.*Sure. At this time we have a promotion for free ground shipping on orders of $** or more with a $* expedited shipping option "XWEB*******"* *Rebekah Wilberg**:**:** p.m.*That is the BEST promotion Venus is currently running? That's not even true, because I just got a **% off promotion on the order I canceled. I will be contacting management. I'm sure they will be disappointed to see you were willing to lose a long-time customer over $**. Have a nice day.
